frank Tussey grasslands - 2008/06/28 10:34 So, last year we had a morning trail day to cut back the grass savanna that pops up on tussey every year. Anyone up for doing a work day on Tuesday, July 8th at 7:30am until probably 11? We could use about 4-5 folks.

kevinb Re:Tussey grasslands - 2008/07/08 13:16 so the tussey ridge is now in pretty good shape, brian and i did the grass cutting and raking and Frank and fid went and got that deadfall on the extention as well as cutting back some of the other stuff just down from the tap.

When Fid and I hiked out the ridge, the grass was so thick and laying down that I had to stop a few times and figure out where I was, and my pants were soaked from walking through the dew (Fid even shook off a few times). On the way back it was like a freaking speed way, yee-haw!
